Molí d'en Simó Cultural Centre
Traditional life on Ibiza depicted with objects and costumes exhibited inside a windmill
When you walk around the village of Sant Antoni, either on your own or on a free tour, you will come across this old Majorcan-style narrow-towered windmill. Declared a heritage site, it houses the Carmen Tur Museum Collection, which features everyday objects, tools and household items, as well as clothing, footwear, jewellery and instruments related to traditional Ibizan folklore. A glimpse of traditional Ibizan life prior to the birth of the tourist industry on the island, which you can add to other heritage and culture sites in the village, such as its fortress church, the Ses Coves lighthouse or the Sa Punta des Molí cultural centre.
